Ketekunan Somantri seorang peternak di Desa Winduraja, Kecamatan Kawali, Kabupaten Ciamis menjadi kisah inspiratif dalam menghadapi tantangan. Berkat kerja keras dan dukungan Badan Amil Zakat (BAZNAS) RI SOmantri berhasil meningkatkan populasi domba-dombanya dari yang sebelumnya hanya beberapa ekor, saat ini menjadi 18 ekor.

Dalam perjalananya, Somantri menghadapi banyak tantangan terutama saat proses kelahiran domba. Namun, dirinya terus berusaha meningkatkan produktivitas ternaknya. Pertambahan populasi ini membawa harapan baru bagi keluarganya dan komunitas peternak di desa tersebut.

Program pemberdayaan yang dijalankan oleh BAZNAS turut membantu Somantri dalam mengelola dan mengembangkan usahanya.

Melalui program pemberdayaan, BAZNAS berkomitmen untuk mendukung para peternak seperti Somantri agar dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga mereka.

“Kami percaya, kolaborasi ini dapat menjadi solusi konkret dalam memberdayakan ekonomi masyarakat,” kata Deputi II BAZNAS RI, Dr. Imdadun Rahmat, M.Si, dalam keterangan tertulis di Jakarta, baru-baru ini. Kolaborasi BAZNAS dan Peternak: Kisah Sukses Pak Somantri di Kawali

Kesuksesan Somantri tidak hanya memberikan dampak positif bagi dirinya, tetapi juga menjadi inspirasi bagi peternak lain di wilayah Ciamis. Dengan tekad kuat, ia mampu melewati masa-masa sulit dan membuktikan bahwa usaha keras selalu membuahkan hasil.

Peran BAZNAS dalam mendukung sektor peternakan, khususnya melalui pemberian pelatihan dan bantuan teknis, menjadi salah satu langkah strategis untuk memberdayakan peternak kecil di pedesaan. Pak Somantri berharap upaya ini dapat terus berlanjut, sehingga lebih banyak peternak di Ciamis dapat merasakan manfaatnya.
